Gravity disc thickener purpose
The ZNP gravity disc thickener is used in the paper industry for washing and concentrating low concentration pulp.
Working principle
The gravity disc thickener is composed of a fan-shaped plate and a tank body. The pulp flows into the tank body from the pulp inlet and continuously gathers on both sides of the fan-shaped plate through the partition plate. The disc rotates to bring the pulp onto the mesh surface, and the pulp is washed and peeled off by high-pressure water. The filtrate flows into the main shaft from the water channel in the middle of the disc and is discharged outward. With the continuous operation of the disc, the concentration of the pulp in the tank increases due to the continuous discharge of the filtrate. When the liquid level in the tank is higher than the liquid level regulating plate, the pulp overflows into the discharge box, thereby concentrating the pulp.
Equipment structure:
1. Fan shaped sieve plate:
The fan-shaped screen plate is made of stainless steel and covered with a 40 mesh stainless steel mesh, which has corrosion-resistant properties. The fan-shaped screen plate is fixed to the spindle by bolts, making it easy to replace.
2. Net washing device:
The nozzle on the spray pipe sprays high-pressure water of 0.3~0.4MPa to wash off the pulp adhered to the filter surface and rinse the filter screen, so that the fan-shaped sieve plate can obtain continuous filtering ability in circulation
3. Tank body:
The groove supports the transmission device and all components, and is welded from steel plates. Including three parts: feeding box, discharging box, and intermediate tank body.
4. Main transmission device:
The power is transmitted from the motor to the main shaft through a belt reducer, a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, and a coupling, using a variable frequency motor with stepless speed regulation and designed speed; For white water recovery, in order to obtain high-quality ultra clear filtrate, it is generally operated at low speed.
